groundbreaking news, though today no
one even noticed it in any publication.
Not with the state of the rest of the
world taking precedence.

Maybe if we had all given up years ago,
we wouldn’t be in this mess. As the
matter stands now, I feel like the system
has failed us. Though our group is small,
our rights and freedoms have been
forgotten by the masses, and many feel we
are not as worthwhile as other
citizens might be.

she came back well rested. However, the
stress returned as soon as she saw the

I had been studying the area for
more than three weeks. This morning
I knew I had solved the crime.
I made the phone call to the police.
“I know what happened in Cedar
Park three weeks ago.”
The operator didn’t know what I
was talking about.

It’s not every day that you meet a man of
such importance. He’s worthless. Though
he will likely try to tell you different.

It’s just a guideline, I told myself, you
don’t have to be exact. My hands were
shaking and I knew my work was subpar.
But I needed to try and fix what I had
done, even though I just kept on making it
worse for myself.

favour. Today he asked something of me,
